Something new for the kids! 絵本を作りました！

Exciting caricatures with sea creatures aren't the only thing we have for kids at the Caricature Japan booth. I would like to introduce my new book called Friends of the Sea. While children are having their drawing made, they can be entertained by reading this book full of cute sea creature drawings. This book is meant for kids of all ages and is educational as well as entertaining.

最近、『うみのなかまたち』というファイルタイプの絵本を、新江ノ島水族館のブースに用意しました。似顔絵が描かれるのを待っているお子様たちに、少しでも楽しい時間を過ごしていただければ、という思いから作ったものです。かわいい海の仲間たちの絵を見ながら、ちょっとばかりお勉強もできてしまうという優れ物です。

Each page features a sea creature in picture form. It also includes the animal's name in both Japanese and English.

それぞれのページには、海の生物の絵が描いてあります。また、その生物の名前を、英語と日本語の両方で添えてあります。

In addition to the book, children can check out our Kids Corner with cute and entertaining toys.

Barack Obama

Recently I made a studio drawing of Barack Obama. I first did a portrait style sketch to study his features.

For the caricature I combined a marker and pastel drawing with computer imagery to show the different times of his life.

Enoshima Aquarium takes a break! 新江ノ島水族館の休館日

The Enoshima Aquarium will be closed on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December.

新江ノ島水族館は、１２月８日（月）、９日（火）、１０日（水）がお休みです。

Weekday service news. 平日サービスに関するお知らせ

Our current weekday service special for Annual Passport holders, Kids Club members, Platinum Club members and Individual Supporter members will be ending on Friday, December 19th.

After the beginning of the new year, our weekday service will resume again starting from Monday, January 5th. Check out the following link for details on the service.

New Products! 新しいフレームのご紹介

Caricature Japan has a new selection of frames to choose from!

今日は最近使い始めた、二種類の新しいフレームをご紹介したいと思います。


The new style plastic frame is made with high quality plastic and has a handsome wood grain finish. The plastic frame retails for 1,575 yen.

新しいプラスチックフレームはこれまでのものよりも頑丈で、きれいな木目模様が入っています。
価格は税込みで１５７５円です。



Our previously used aluminum frames have been replaced with "kokutan" wood frames which iclude a matte. This frame is very stylish and is reccomended for special occasions or gift caricatures. The kokutan frame retails for 3,150 yen.

もう一つは、マット入りの黒檀フレームです。
なかなかおしゃれな作りをしているので、特別な機会やギフトにおすすめです。
価格は税込みで３１５０円です。
