Kasai Noriaki 葛西紀明

This studio drawing is of famous Japanese ski jumper Noriaki Kasai. This year he is competing in his 6th Olympic games in Vancouver. He has competed in more Olympic games than any other ski jumper. He won a silver medal for the Team Large Hill jump at the Lillehammer Olympics in 1994. This year in Vancouver he placed 8th in the Large Hill competition at the age of 38. He has also won serveral medals at various world competions.

早割サービス拡大のお知らせ。 Early Bird Service News.

Caricature Japan is pleased to announce that it is extending it's Early Bird service to include every day of the last two weeks of February. From Saturday, February 13th until Sunday, February 28th this service will be offered every day to our customers who arrive between 11:00 and 13:00. The service consists of a grade up in which we will draw the "with sea creature" drawing for the price of the "face only" drawing. A 420 yen savings per person.

Valentine Island Ensohima

From Saturday, February 6th through Sunday, February 14th there will be all kinds of fun going on at Enoshima in celebration of Valentines Day including music and illumination events.

Polar Bear ホッキョクグマ

I've made a new entry for my picture book at the aquarium. It's the polar bear. In Japanese it's pronounced hokkyoku-guma (ホッキョクグマ).

Everyone loves a big cuddly bear.
